The Exploration Information System project, in short EIS, consists of a consortium of 17 partners from leading research institutes, academia, service providers, and the mining industry. The consortium members come from six European Union member states – Finland, France, Germany, Spain, the Czech Republic, and Sweden – one of the members is based in South Africa, and one associate member comes from Brazil.
