EXPLORATION INFORMATION SYSTEM
An EU-funded project dedicated to securing raw material resources key for the delivery of the European green deal, energy transition and digital transition.

EIS OBJECTIVES

Exploration Information System (EIS) is a Horizon Europe project, coordinated by Geological Survey of Finland (GTK), and will develop new data analysis methods by applying artificial intelligence, machine learning, and deep learning to mineral prospectivity mapping together with new geomodels and mineral systems modelling.

The project aims for three main goals to support the implementation of the European Green Deal and increasing Europe’s long-term self-sufficiency of critical raw materials (CRM).
